The Flexible House: The Housing Backlog and the Persistence of Lodging, 1891-1951
The purpose of this guide is to indicate the features of this culture of the house as it took shape in Japan. A series of six films use historic pictures to animate the daily tasks corresponding to laundry and cooking that make a house work.
