Character description + sypnosis: Caprica is prequel to fan fovorite TV Series Battlestar Galactica which take place 50 yeasr before BSG, where all 12 Colony still exist. Humanity's storyline takes completely new twists with Caprica, which follows two rival families Graystone's and Adama's – as they compete and thrive in the vibrant realm of the 12 Colonies, a society recognizably close to our own. This original, standalone series will feature the passion, intrigue, political backbiting, and family conflict in an omnipotent society that is at the height of its blind power and glory…and, unknowingly, on the brink of its fall.

Their bitter rivalry will bring the end of life as they know it.

Their children are the future.

Barnabas Greeley is dangerous terrorist leader, driven by moralistic and yet carnal desires, this unpredictable villain is constantly torn by his conflicting motivations.

James on his character, Barnabas Greeley:

James describes Barnabas as a religious warrior, a man who will do anything to change this corrupting world. And in trying to save the world, he is ‘not afraid to make mistakes;’ this James says with a heavy dose of admiration. When asked how he feels about playing such a zealous character, James says that he understands Barnabas’ motivation as he sees his world coming apart. In this fallen world, Barnabas is trying to save humanity and as such, he doesn’t fear going too far to do so. He will hurt and use people in order to make this right.
